Looking for great ways to clean your home without harsh chemicals and toxic antibacterial agents? Here are a couple of easy to make, inexpensive cleaning products that are safe and made with ingredients you may already have in your kitchen cupboard.
Glass Cleaner
- ¼ cup white vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 3-4 drops of liquid soap (optional, but I like castile soap)
Directions:
Mix ingredients, pour into a spray bottle. For streak-free shine, use an old newspaper wadded up to wipe clean.
Floor & Wall Cleaner
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 gallon hot water
- 1 T. liquid soap (optional)
- 1 t. pine or lemon oil (optional)
Directions:
Mix water and vinegar and clean walls and floors using a mop or rag. For extra cleaning power, add the liquid soap. Follow with clean water mop.
Add pine or lemon oil to condition unlaminated wood floors. (Always follow the flooring manufacturer’s cleaning directions.)
