Hear What Others Have to Say

“Create More Bone Density”

This is a chance to reach/stretch into areas that you may have not been paying attention to, within your body. When approaching these poses you are coached to get ready, then set, then go for 30 seconds. It helps you get a grip on what might ail you in the present while you’re aiming for what might ail you in the future regarding your bone health. Some poses help form larger muscle around your bone while creating more bone density through firm grounded stances -Cynthia S

Our Story

iPIVOT-now was born after Susan & Genevieve met when studying at Duke Integrative Health. Their mutual desire to enhance the health and well-being of others, to empower others to take charge of their health, specifically their bone health, led them to join forces, combining their physical and nutritional backgrounds, and voila! iPIVOT-now.

What brings them joy is offering courses, programs, events to share knowledge that is based on research, and providing the tools and resources to put action into place which set up their clients for success. They get jazzed up hearing about the habit changes and improvements in their clients day-to-day lives. Susan & Genevieve bring an enthusiasm and zest for life that is contagious!

This course has been exactly what I needed to learn the yoga poses that can strengthen my bones. It’s not just knowing the correct positions but also where the effort should be directed in each pose. It’s been a REALLY important course for me. My posture has improved in just four weeks and I’m moving with more flexibility. I am grateful for the course and the instructors!~Holly T

“I was concerned about my osteoporosis and now I feel energized to make a real change. Taking action feels empowering and I want to take charge of my health and well-being. This class was definitely worth it!” ~ Elizabeth T

I have a confident path forward, knowing exercises that will increase my BMD and not injure myself in the process. Thank you for the clear instructions, the variety of using nutrition along with exercise, the positive vibes and the encouraging words. I would love to see this avenue available in Yoga studios everywhere – so people in the Osteo Club can be protected and supported.”  ~ Chris P

“I Feel More Confident”

I’m really happy I decided to invest in myself and take the Yoga vs. Osteoporosis class. There are many yoga classes out there but I had no idea there was one specifically targeting bone loss. Genevieve and Susan are very knowledgeable in this area and have science to back up the reason for specific poses. I took this because I have osteopenia. I’m basically a beginner and now feel more confident in the world of yoga. It’s been a fun journey filled with valuable information with a lot of support from 2 energetic knowledgeable ladies.     Debbie K, AZ

“It’s a win/win.”

Why Yoga vs Osteoporosis?  Someone said, “glamour is just another word for a little extra discipline”.  Susan and Genevieve inspire that little extra discipline through Yoga vs Osteoporosis.  It is fun and hard work combined with a lot of encouragement from two women who understand the art of growing up.  Will you feel more glamorous?  Take the class and find out.  I’m 74 and hoping to move on to the next level.  Glamour and stronger bones.  It’s a win/win.
