Americans spend over $3.5 billion annually on over the counter cold and cough remedies. You very likely have, or can easily source, ingredients to make an inexpensive, all natural, great tasting syrup in your kitchen pantry.

Thyme has been known for its ability to support a healthy respiratory response and is said to be anti-viral and anti-spasmodic. Honey is recognized by the World Health Organization as useful for coughs. Never give honey to a child less than 12 months of age as there is a risk of botulism.
