This is one herbal remedy that almost seems like a magic trick. Have you ever thought of putting something on your feet to combat lung and sinus congestion? Sounds kinda crazy. But it really works

Here’s all you need:

  • Clean small jar
  • 2 pairs of socks (old, clean ones will do just fine)

Ingredients:

  • 6 cloves of fresh garlic, finely minced
  • 1/8 cup olive oil

Directions:

Let the garlic sit for 10 minutes after mincing, then place it is a small jar and barely cover with oil.

Let this infuse (sit in the jar) for 1-12 hours then strain.

Before bedtime, rub the oil onto your feet and immediately place your feet into some old socks. And for good measure, put another pair over the first. I have an old pair of wool socks that work great.

Within a few minutes, you’ll notice that you have garlic breath!. The wonderful antimicrobial constituents of the garlic have moved silently through your bloodstream right to where you most need it.

Repeat, as necessary.

Important Notes:

Don’t use this as a culinary oil; there is some risk of botulism when combining oil with fresh garlic.

Don’t save or reuse . Best to just make a fresh batch each time.
