Here’s an easy and satisfying protein & calcium rich meal made from things you can have readily available in your cabinet and freezer!

One of the staples you’ll need to prep is the “Power Ball” recipe that can be found at https://ipivot-now.com/power-balls-for-better-bone-health/ . These little meatballs are a base for innumerable recipes or can be enjoyed alone, heated, as a quick snack.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 “Power Balls” or Meatballs
  • 2 cups of Beef Bone Broth (homemade or premade)
  • 1 cups of chopped vegetables, fresh or frozen
  • Couple of dashes of hot sauce (optional)
  • Sliced scallions and cilantro for toppings (optional)

Directions:

Bring your broth to a low boil, put in veggies and meatballs. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until veggies are tender crisp and meatballs heated through.

Tips:

Don’t have time to make bone broth? There are several good and tasty brands on the market. Just give the ingredient list a read to make sure you know what you are getting. Although I usually make the broth, I got a really tasty “sipping” beef bone broth from Safeway. I loved the small 16 oz. container which made just the right amount for a couple of bowls of soup!
